Does the item I’ve chosen include light bulbs?
Some of the items do include light blubs and others don’t. Please see dimensions and specifications section of individual products to confirm.
What are LEDs?
LEDs are light emitting diodes – electronic components that product light by converting electrical energy into light via the movement of electrons within the material of the diode. LEDs are beginning to replace most conventional light sources due to their efficiency and low energy use. They have a very long lamp life and provide a low heat source.
What is a Kelvin?
Kelvin (k) is a unit of measurement which describes the hue of a light source (the warmth or colour of the light). The higher the Kelvin value, the closer the colour of the light will be to sunlight.
As a guide, bulbs with an output of:
3500k or less = amber hue
3500k – 4100k = white hue
4200k or more = blueish hue
What is a Lumen?
Lumens (lm) is the measurement of light emitted from a bulb. The higher the lumens the brighter the light.
As a guide, bulbs with an output of:
40 watt = 450 lumens
60 watt = 800 lumens
75 watt = 1,100 lumens
100 watt = 1,600 lumens
150 watt = 2,600 lumens
What is an IP rating?
Ingress protection (IP) rating describes the resistance of a bulb against dust and water.
An IP rating is usually displayed with the two letters followed by two numbers, for example IP20 or IP44.
The first number relates to the protection against foreign bodies and dust (0 = not protected to 6 = dust tight).
The second number refers to protection against water (0 = not protected to 8 = suitable for continuous submersion in water, for example in a swimming pool).
What is an IK rating?
Impact Protection (IK rating) describes the level of pressure a casing provides against mechanical impacts for example is a product is stood on or driven over.
IK ratings range from IK00 (0.14 joules impact) to IK10 (20 joules impact).
How do I pay for my order?

Unfortunately we don’t accept payment by cheque, but you can pay using any of the following cards: Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Diners Club or Discovery Cards.
Do I need an account to place and order?
You will need to set up an account to place an order. It’s very simple to do and makes future ordering much simpler.
Can I change the delivery address after I have placed an order?
If you wish to change the delivery address after you have submitted your order, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to help you, however if a courier has already been arranged this may not be possible.
When will I receive my order?
Indoor lighting: delivery dates vary from product to product. Please see individual product pages for specific timescales (under Delivery section).
Outdoor lighting: all outdoor lighting will be received 7-10 days from the date of order.
Do you delivery outside of mainland UK?
Unfortunately, Pendalier does not ship goods outside mainland UK.
Can I cancel my order before delivery?
Orders can be cancelled from the point an order is placed until 14 days after. We will do our best to prevent the item being delivered if you cancel the order before it has arrived. However, in some cases it may be too late to cancel the delivery; in such cases please return the item as per guidance on Delivery and Returns page.
If a cancelled item is delivered, costs associated with returning the item remain with the customer.
Please note it is not possible to cancel bespoke or customised items. All bespoke items are clearly identified in the product pages, please check carefully before ordering.
How do I return an item?
Please refer to our returns policy, which can be viewed on our Delivery and Returns page.
Do I have to pay to return an item?
Yes, costs associated with the return of an unwanted item are the responsibility of the customer. If an item is returned due to fault or damage, we ask the customer to cover the cost of returning the item, but this will be refunded once the item has been received and inspected.
Please note bespoke (made to order) or custom items cannot be returned unless they are faulty or damaged.
My item is faulty, what should I do?
All of our products are carefully checked and packed before they are sent to you. Please inspect your item(s) on arrival and report any faults or damage to us within 48 hours of receipt. For full details, please see our returns policy, which can be viewed on our Delivery and Returns page.
